Jody L. Dufek

Jody Lee Dufek, 58, of Bonduel, passed away on May 13, 2024.

She was born on October 26, 1965 to Archie and Joan (Powell) Russell in Appleton, WI. Jody graduated from Shawano High School in 1984 and later that fall she attended North West Technical College, where she later received her Associate's Degree in Accounting in May of 1987. On July 20, 2002 she married the love of her life Jeff Dufek at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Green Bay.

Jody loved a lot of things, especially spending time with her family and friends and line dancing. She would be very active with traveling and found her favorite travel destinations to be the beach. She also enjoyed camping, softball and participating in her children's sports activities. Jody was a caring and compassionate mother and dedicated herself to not only her children, but she opened her arms to fostering children, foreign exchange students and even participated in Respite Care.

She will be forever missed.

Jody is survived by her husband, Jeff; four children: Joshua, Danielle, Lindsey and Kiley; one grandson, Warhol; her father, Archie; mother-in-law, LeAnn; her fur-babies: Cinder and Dobby; siblings; Rick (Kathy) Russell, Jean (Randy) Zikan, Lisa (Don) Elertson, David Russell, and Kelly (Jeremy) Edwards and further relatives and too many friends to list.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan; father-in-law, Jerry; and fur-baby, Rhu.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, Wisconsin. A Memorial Service will follow the gathering time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
