Joanne "Jo" M. Steiner, 69, Green Bay, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, July 07, 2012. She was born September 29, 1942 to the late Harold and Joyce (Marlow) Hallett. Joanne was a longtime member of St. Willebrord Catholic Church. In October of 1988 Jo married Tom Steiner.
She loved going camping, walking, going to tractor shows and parades, listening to music, but most of all loved spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband of 23 years, Tom Steiner; 5 children: Diane (Brian) Puymbroek, Linda (Kirby) Vanden Burgt, Patricia (Randy) Webb, Robert (Lori) Ausloos, and Kristine (Andy) Ritzenhein; 3 stepsons: Douglas (Nicole), Shawn, and Corey Steiner; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Kay (Ray) Koch; sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Hallett) Matzke, Judy (John) Darga, and Sharon Steiner; and brothers-in-law, Robert (Judy) Steiner and Clyde (Linda) Steiner
She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Hallett; sister, Susan Greetan-Buchinger; and brother-in-law, Jim Steiner.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams St., Green Bay, from 9:00am until 10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Tuesday, at 10:30am with Rev. Andrew Cribben officiating. Entombment will be in Fort Howard Mausoleum.
Jo's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at St. Vincent Hospital and Parkview Manor Nursing Home.
