Joan Ellen (Barrie) Loch, 72, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 13, 2013. She was born on October 30, 1941, in Green Bay to the late Harold and Harriet Barrie. Joan graduated from West High School in 1960. She married the late Donald H. Loch in 1961.
Joan was a very loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and loyal friend. Joan loved her family and friends, Bella, Door County, cooking meals for family and friends and of course, her Packers! Joan worked for 25 wonderful years at Fuzzy's Bar as a manager. After retirement, she loved working on her garden and decorating her house especially at Christmas time.
Joan is survived by her daughters Lori and Deb; brothers, Tom Barrie and Bob Barrie; sisters-in-law, Sue Barrie and Kris Barrie; Terri Barrie; niece, Elizabeth Barrie; nephews, Joe (Mindy) Barrie, Pete (Molly) Barrie, Tucker and Jack Barrie; daughter-in-law, Kathy; and grandchildren, Zachary, Jake, Luke, Alex and Katie.
Visitation will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am on Monday, December 16, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday at the funeral home. Packer attire is welcomed.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
