Joan Joyce Boruque

Joan Joyce Boruque, 78, passed away on July 22, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 4, 1944 to Chester and Patricia (Metoxen) Wayer in Milwaukee. Joan was united in marriage to Thomas Boruque. She worked for Master Lock in Milwaukee for 30 years. Joan was an animal lover, she loved having a pet in the home and fed all of the outdoor animals as well. Joan and Thomas would vacation to Vegas, New York, and quick get-aways to Chicago where they would go to the horse race track. She loved spending time with friends and family.

Joan is survived by her loving son, Todd B. Wayer, two sisters, Sandra (Gene) Wondra and Patty (Myron Vieau) Harms; and further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas, one sister, Dana Metoxen, and one brother, Lester Harms Jr.

Joan's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Promedica Hospice and all the friends and family that came to visit and gave comfort to Joan and the family.
