Green Bay

Joan Marie Borlee, 75, of Green Bay, passed away on February 1, 2025 from complications related to Alzheimer's disease. She was born on August 25, 1949 to Harold and Lucille (Albers) Tahlier. Joan was a proud West High School graduate and honored to have attended with her beloved siblings. She married Bernard Andrew Borlee and they lived happily together in Green Bay, Wisconsin for nearly 50 years.

Joan was a kind, gentle, and generous soul whose presence brightened even the darkest day. She valued acts of service and was selfless to the very end. Joan was passionate about flowers and plants and turned her backyard into a lush and vibrant natural habitat. If you were looking for Joan she could most likely be found there, swinging on her swing, listening to music, and enjoying nature with her kids, grandchild, and dogs. Joan enjoyed creating art and baking snacks oftentimes using longtime family recipes. She cared most about family. She loved her brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews dearly. She loved her husband, sons, and granddaughter deeply. Her family takes solace in knowing that Joan is at peace.

Joan is survived by her husband: Bernard; two children: Nathan, Noah (Mallory); grandchild: Sophia; two sisters: Jean (Joe) Krietzer, Joyce Tahlier. Joan was preceded in death by her parents: Harold and Lucille Tahlier; three brothers: Richard Tahlier, James and Robert Tahlier; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Fred and Mary Borlee.

Per the families' wishes, there will no formal services.
