Jesse Francis Swille, age 43, of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, after a two month illness, with his loving mother at his side. He was born August 1, 1973 to Karen (Swille) Goethe and was a 1992 graduate of Green Bay West High School.
After graduating, Jesse felt a strong calling to serve his country and enlisted in the US Marine Corps where he served until his honorable discharge in 1996. Jesse loved to fish, especially with his Uncle Russell. He was a member of several dart leagues where he was involved in many tournaments and formed countless friendships. He enjoyed traveling with his parents and spending time with them at their cabin. Jesse worked as a bartender and manager at his family's bar, Karen's Pub and will be fondly remembered as a great friend with an amazing sense of humor.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Brian and Karen Goethe; step-father, Tim Perz; sister, Jessica (Steve) Broekman; special nephews, Cael and Reid Broekman; maternal grandmother, Beverly Swille; maternal grandfather, Richard (Mary) Swille; grandmother, Clara Goethe; uncle, Richard (Rebecca) Swille, Jr.; aunt, Kathy (Dean) Patterson; special uncle, Russell (Patti) Swille; aunt, Linda (Don) Wickman; uncles, Steve (Kathy) Goethe and Dave (Kathy) Goethe and beloved friend, Alicia Magolan. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Goethe.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Monday, February 13, 2017 from 2 to 4:45 PM. A celebration of Jesse's life will follow at 5 PM with full military honors.
