Jerry Iverson, 57, of Green Bay, beloved husband of Stephanie (Kush) Iverson, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
Jerry was born July 20, 1960 in Racine, WI, son of Arthur and Diane (Larson) Iverson. Jerry was employed for over 25 years at Van Boxtel Ford and most recently Bergstrom Automotive. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for Howard Fire Department, and also volunteered for the Green Bay Police Department. Jerry was an avid Green Bay Packer's fan and worked Security during the home games. Jerry will be remembered for his big heart, he truly cared for others and for his community.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Stephanie, and his two children: Amanda and Alyssa Iverson. He also leaves his parents: Arthur and Diane Iverson, along with a sister Judy (Don) Potratz, and father-in-law, Don Kush and mother-in-law, Joanne Bamke. Jerry leaves 3 beloved grandchildren: Isabella, Miah, and Elaina, along with a nephew, Matthew (Micole) Sautner and their daughter, Madyson. He also leaves and Uncle, George Iverson Jr. and 2 cousins: David Iverson and Leigh-Anne Iverson-Sommers. Jerry is preceded in death by an Aunt, Barbara Iverson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 2 - 5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A funeral service celebrating Jerry's life will follow at 5 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
