Jerry Heling

Gerald "Jerry" L. Heling, age 75, of Athelstane, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 23, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 10, 1943 to the late Florence (Peters) Taylor and was a graduate of Oconto Falls High School.

Jerry was a truck driver for Schneider Transport for 35 years. He married Carole Gillett April 15, 1983 and they shared 35 years together as husband and wife. Jerry and Carole traveled together for their job for 16 years.

Jerry was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and loved to cheer for the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years. He looked forward to his yearly fishing trip to Canada with his fishing buddies. He loved spending time with his puppies and his family, especially his grandkids.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Carole; 2 sons, Mike (Kelly) Lambrecht and Ken (Crystal) Lambrecht and 7 grandkids: Michaela, Alex, Colton, Brady, Zoe, Abbey and Logan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Friday, December 14, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM. A memorial service will follow at 7 PM.
