Jerome "Jerry" Reilley, 86, of Crivitz, WI, beloved husband of Judie (Mueller) Reilley, departed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette with his wife at his side.
Jerry was born on January 31, 1930 in Chicago, IL son of the late Arthur and Ethel (Bunker) Reilley. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950 and served during the Korean Conflict. He was an active 61 year life member of the American Legion including Sullivan Wallen Post 11, Green Bay and was the first to be elected Commander two consecutive years. He later was a member of Post 413 in Crivitz and Post 150 in Wausaukee. Jerry was also a life member of the V.F.W. and a member of 40 et 8. Later in life Jerry enjoyed volunteering for Marinette County Elderly Services also served on the Marinette County Veterans Service Commission.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Judie of Crivitz. Two daughters: Deanna (Mark) Vinson of Ashland and Patricia (Tom) Wauters of Green Bay. He also leaves his 3 step children: Linda Luedtke of Wausaukee, David Luedtke of Green Bay, and Lance (Kathy) Luedtke of Green Bay in addtion to his brother Timothy (Janet) Reilley of Madison. Jerry also leaves: 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Kerry Patrick Reilley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22nd from 4 - 6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A Memorial Service will follow at 6 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to a memorial fund established in his name. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
