Jerilyn "Jeri" Rathbun

October 7, 1956 — May 18, 2022

Jerilyn (Jeri) Denise Rathbun went home to Jesus on May 18th, 2022 at age of 65 after a long battle with cancer.

Jerilyn was born to Jane and Ervin Gnabasik on October 3rd, 1956 in Stoughton, WI.

Jerilyn met her husband, Phillip in 1972 at Crivitz High School. They married June 20th, 1975 and went on to have 5 children, Michael, Sarah, Kristina, Shelly and Taylor.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, and wife Jerilyn also loved boating, camping, watching the Green Bay Packers, bird watching, and getaways to Northern Wisconsin. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband and family. Jerilyn devoted 40 years to helping others working as a CNA and Ward Clerk in local nursing homes. Jerilyn held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Jerilyn joins her mother Jane Gnabasik, brother in law, Steve Gromoski, her granddaughter Ashlyn Rathbun, her beloved cousin Shelly Herritz, 3 uncles, and 2 aunts in Heaven.

Jerilyn is survived by her loving husband, Phillip Rathbun, son, Michael Rathbun, daughters, Sarah Rathbun (Brent), Kristina Rathbun, Shelly Rathbun (Betty), and Taylor Siebert (Jacob), two sisters Becky Wolf and Kathy Esquibel (Casey) and step-sister Diane Hofland (Mark), 8 grand-children and 4 great-grandchildren along with brothers-in-law Dan Rathbun (Jeanette), David Rathbun (Betty), John Rathbun (Pam) and sisters-in-law Nancy Harness (Stan) and Joy Rathbun-Lindburg (John), who treated her as their own sister, special friend Donna (Tim) Maes, along with many nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.
