Jeffrey "Hinder" Vandenhoogen, age 57, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 Bayshore Village Nursing Home. He was born on February 13, 1966 in Green Bay the son of the late Clement and Margaret (Manning) Vandenhoogen. Hinder proudly served our country in the Army. He was an avid dart player, card player, loved hunting and fishing, and a diehard Packer and Brewer fan. Throughout the years he bartended at 54 Run and Stingers Pub, he would also bounce and cook at the racetrack on the weekend. Hinder cherished the time he spent with family and friends.
Hinder is survived by his beloved daughter, Kalilia (Josh), two brother: Jim (Peggy) and Scott Vandenhoogen, sister-in-law, Jo Vandenhoogen, nieces and nephews: Joshua, Mark, Amy, Laura, Jaime, Adam, Cory, Nicole, Lorissa, and godson,Tyler, many cousins, and numerous special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kalilia's mom, Charlene Doxtater, beloved dog, Hunter, two brothers, one aunt, Mary Manning, three uncles: Don, Bud, and John (Shirley) Manning and many close friends.
Friends and family may visit at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 7:00 pm, Military Honors to follow. In lieu of flowers please direct memorials towards the assistance of the funeral.
