Jeffrey Allen "Stoney" McVeigh, 70, of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023.

He was born June 6, 1952, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the son of Ronald and Lois (Conard) McVeigh.

Jeffrey was employed by the Green Bay News Chronicle for 18 years. He then drove a Yellow Cab for eight years.

Jeffrey married Kathy Hodgson on July 9, 1983 in Green Bay. She survives, along with his children Shannon McVeigh, Erin Abadia (Robert) and Kelly McVeigh-Plaza (Juan), all of Green Bay; eleven grandchildren; siblings Becky Schettle (Randy), Michael McVeigh (Denise), and Laddie McVeigh; many nieces and nephew; and his goddaughter Dawn McFarlane. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his sister Cindy VanDreel; his uncle Joey Conard; and his very special canine companion BooBoo.

Jeffrey enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, Powerball, bingo and playing slots on his laptop. He loved driving around with rock music blaring.

Jeffrey was cremated. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue in Green Bay. A Celebration of Life will follow the visitation at Partyline Bar at 601 Bellevue Street in Green Bay.
