Jeffery "Jeff" Ambrose Elm, 73, entered into the Spirit World on September 15, 2023. Born on May 23, 1950, in Gresham, WI to Bertha Elm (McGee) and Mitchell Elm Jr. Jeff was an Oneida Nation citizen. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1968, and then moved to the DePere area where he lived and worked for the past 40+ years.
In 1970, Jeff was hired as a pressman, and worked for the Independent Printing Company, in DePere, where he worked third shift. He remained working for the company for over 35 years. Jeff earned many positive accolades and was praised for his deep commitment to the company and for his outstanding work ethic.
Jeff was also committed to caring for our Mother, "Ma", Bertha, and was her primary caregiver for many years. Jeff enjoyed visiting with his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Jeff was loved by many, he was known for his generosity and kindness, love of good food, being a Packer fan and for being an avid player at the Oneida BINGO hall.
Jeffery will be missed by his surviving siblings: Ivan Elm (Tess), Richard Elm, Raymond Elm, Mary Elm, Howard Elm and Frances Elm (Senia).
Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Mitchell Jr.; sisters: Judith Rose, Patsy and Valerie; brothers, Lawrence and Mitchell "Edward" and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jeffery will rest in love and peace next to his mother, brother, sister and nephew in the Oneida Methodist Church cemetery. A family service will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 1 to 2:30 PM The Oneida Hymn Singers will be offering their prayer service from 2:30 to 3PM (please be seated in quiet and prayerful reflection). A memorial service will follow at 3 PM.
Jeffery's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
