Jeff Wolfe, age 61, of Little Suamico, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, September 19, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 10, 1961 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, son of the late Leonard and Bernice (Kampa) Wolfe and was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1980.
Jeff spent his working life in the transportation industry as a dispatcher for various companies in the Green Bay area. He began at Green Bay and Western Railroad and then was employed by the Leight Industries, WEL and most recently at Dedicated Systems. Jeff found his true work "home" with Dedicated Systems, where he fostered lasting friendships with his fellow coworkers. He was a former member of Traffic Club.
Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. Jeff enjoyed hunting in Independence, WI on the family hunting land. He passed the love of his favorite hobbies down to his son, Jordan. Together they cheered on the Brewers, Packers and watched NASCAR racing. He enjoyed spending his weekends at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping in Egg Harbor with his fiancée, Terri, his dog, Tucker and the many friends that were made camping.
Jeff is survived by the love of his life, Terri Basten and her son, Phillip Paluch; his son, Jordan Wolfe; his former wife and mother of his son, Julie Leary Wolfe; sister, Judy Meier and her children: Mike (his son, Ryan), Cate (T.J.) and Ali Meier and his brother, Dan (Kathy) Wolfe and his children, Christopher (fiancée, Lizzie) and Jessica Wolfe.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1 to 3 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3 PM.
