Jeff Williams

Jeff "Steve" Williams was born to the late Annie L. Reaves and the late Jeffery Strokes on August 20, 1955. He was born a twin brother to Jeffery "Stan" Williams (precedes in death.)

Jeff accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Harrison High School in Chicago, IL. He went on to become a City of Chicago employee where he did many types of jobs and settled down and retired as a Chicago Transit Authority employee.

Jeff loved music and was in a band where he was an immaculate guitar player, not to mention could hold a note very well. He loved a genres of music. Jeff was very avid on his appearance and loved to dress in all white, everything on down to his Cadillac.

Jeff was very loveable and will always put a smile on everyone's face. He kept a smile on his face, as well. He was a real funny person, always cracking jokes and mimicking voices.

Jeff departed this life on January 6, 2025 in Chilton, WI.

Jeff leaves, not to mourn his passing, but to cherish his precious memories. His wife, Shelia, whom he adored; his baby sister, Susie; 8 daughters: Alethia (José) Rita, Natasha, Latonya Annie Lee (Antoine) Melloney "Telly", Jeffrunda, Ladonna and Jacqueline; a son, Jeff Jr.; his 3 oldest grandchildren: Vince, Jeff and Shelia; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; special nephew, Jeffery "Bink" Triplett; a special cousin, Clarence and a special friend, Tina. He very much loved all of his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Friday, January 24, 2025 from 1 to 3 PM. A funeral service will follow at 3 PM.

A farewell poem

Hello to one and all who have gathered here today. To give good bye and farewells, for I have gone away to be with all of my people who have gone before me. They welcomed me with open arms. They said, "Welcome Home", for you deserve rest away from all worldly things. You have passed the test, so until I see you all again in the heavenly place, I love you all so keep your hearts and souls full of love and grace. From Steve and Shelia to you.
