Jeannette F. "Nette" Van, age 49, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born February 7, 1973 in Marinette, WI, daughter of the late Charles Van Sr. and Laura (Senn) Van and was a graduate of Wausaukee High School, Class of 1991.
Nette was a leader at heart. She was able to embrace her leadership skills and share her positive outlook on life through her work and dedication as a consultant for Pure Romance. Through this she empowered women to live their best and happiest life.
Despite many hardships she faced, she always focused on the positive aspects of her life experiences. This attitude inspired those around her: friends, clients and her family. Her greatest joys were being a mom to her son, Scott and becoming a grandmother to Rylee. She was also blessed to have found the love of her life, Billy Mitchell, with whom she shared many adventures.
Nette is survived by her son, Scott (Ashley) Van; granddaughter, Rylee; her mother, Laura Van; her twin sister, Janet Van and siblings: Charles (Katie) Van Jr., Norton (Lisa) Van and Charlene Van. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Van Sr.
A Celebration of Nette's Life will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4 PM.
