Jeanette L. Willems, age 58, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, after a valiant battle with lung cancer. She was born November 4, 1964 in Algoma, WI, daughter of the late Norbert Willems and Alice LuMaye.
Jeanette worked for many years as a conditioner at The Linen Press, Sturgeon Bay, WI. She enjoyed gardening, relaxing at the orchard and playing Minecraft with her family.
Jeanette is survived by her brother, Joseph (Tina) Willems and their daughter, Tara (Mike) Willems; her sister, Terrie (Dale Ferron) Onsager and her daughters, Karly (James) Onsager (their daughter, Makenzie) and Alisa Little (her children, Derek Wesner and Hayden Wesner) and her son, Lance (Charity) Little (their son, Lonnie) and a nephew-in-law, Morgan Winkworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert West and a niece, Tia Onsager.
Per Jeanette's wishes, no services will be held.
Jeanette's family would like to extend their gratitude to the physicians at St. Vincent Hospital, the nurses at Door County Cancer Center for their care and the rescue teams in Kewaunee County for their quick response and incredible compassion.
