Janette was an accomplished watercolor artist; many of her paintings grace the homes and offices of family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and traveling, which inspired many of her paintings. She had a good sense of humor and enjoyed movies, dancing, and listening to an assorted selection of music, especially jazz music. You could find her on many occasions attending the Lawrence University symphony or jazz concerts. She also excelled at knitting, sewing and cooking. She was known for her cooking, especially her fabulous Italian spaghetti and meatball dinners. Her children and friends always looked forward to her assorted pies, cakes, and Christmas cookies. After her children were grown, she continued to pursue educational goals, and attended Outagamie Normal School, and Fox Valley Technical College.

Janette was a loving mother to her family, making their success in life her main priority. She was very proud of their many accomplishments. We, her family, thank her for her devotion.
