Jean M. Jubert

June 17, 1949 — January 5, 2025

Lakewood

Jean Marie Jubert, age 75, of Lakewood, passed away on January 5, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 17, 1949 to Maurice and Zudora Collar in Green Bay, WI. Jean graduated from Green Bay East High in 1968, and soon met the love of her life, Joe Jubert. The couple was united in marriage in 1969, and quickly moved to Lakewood. They immediately fell in love with the area, and spent the rest of their lives there. The couple was blessed with two sons; Kelly and Robert.

Jean had a passion for cooking, and often repaid her helpers with her delicious meals and desserts. She thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, and could regularly be found feeding the birds, caring for her flowers and plants, and fishing by the lake. She was proud to be the older twin and she often teasingly reminded Joel of this.

She is survived by her loving son, Kelly Jubert, her brothers; Lee (Joan) Collar, Joel (Cheryl) Collar and her special friend; Diane Delvoye. Jean is further survived by her sister-in-law, Dolly Collar, her brother-in-law, Frank Kox, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, her son, Robert, her parents, Maurice and Zudora, and her siblings; Jim, Curt, Gladys (Milt) VandenHeuvel, Bill, Dick (Sharon), Sandy Collar, and Connie Kox.

Per the families wishes, they will have a Celebration of Life in Jean's memory come Spring / Summer.

Jean's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff's of Oconto Health and Rehab Center, Bellin Hospital, and Bellin Hospice.
