Jean A Gille passed peacefully to eternal life in the early morning of Sunday, December 20, 2020 at her home after a day spent with her sons and their families.
Jean was a member of Resurrection Parish in Allouez and relied on her faith through good times and difficult, as well as in her daily life.
Jean's life was rich with simple pleasures. Jean had many creative talents and enjoyed making the world a more beautiful place. If you knew her it was most likely through one of her interests. She enjoyed watching television, especially PBS series, while filling her time with amazing basket weaving, intricate bead work, knitting, crocheting and baking special treats. Her yard tells the story of her passion for gardening, especially her love of hostas. Jean was a founding member of the Green and Gold Hosta Society of Northeast Wisconsin. Jean was also an avid reader and enjoyed passing on a good book or receiving one from a friend. In her healthy days, Jean enjoyed starting her days with coffee and breakfast at the Village Grille in Allouez while reading or sharing a conversation.
A highlight of Jean's life was the joy of traveling to Ireland where she felt a deep connection to the country and its people.
During her marriage to Gary many weekends were spent in Eagle River as a family building memories her sons cherish to this day.
Jean loved her boys; Kevin (Amy) and Robert (Karen) with all her heart. Her pride and love for her grandchildren; Charlie (Jessica), Morgan and Nathan were ever present. She enjoyed laughing with her great grandchildren, Mason Gary and Rosella Jean.
She is survived by her sisters Judy, Marilyn and Kathy. Jean was a special aunt to a precious few and a friend to many more than we can mention.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents John and Eunice Fuller, and her brother Jim.
Private family services will be held. To post an online condolence please visit www.newcomergreenbay.com.
We thank everyone for their love, prayers, good wishes and support through the last weeks of Jean's life. She was home and at peace.
