Jean Marie Besaw, 68, of Green Bay, passed away on June 10, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on December 22, 1955 to Joseph and Maryjane (Rhoades) Charlier in Green Bay, WI. She graduated from Green Bay West in 1974, where she was looking forward to the 50th reunion next month in July. On December 20, 1975, she married the love of her life, Russ Besaw. On top of working full-time, Jean was a caregiver to her entire family- her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her siblings, and even her parents. She was an incredibly compassionate and selfless woman. Part of her caring personality also held her love for animals, especially her kitties. She loved traveling, California was her favorite state to vacation to. She also was an avid and passionate Elvis fan. The neighborhood knew her famously for her judgment-free backyard parties, where everyone was invited and family. Jean was known by all as a great listener and easy person to talk to. Those moments and conversations will be missed, but forever remembered and cherished.
She will be deeply missed.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, Russell; children: Stacy (Joe) Besaw, Tracy Larscheid and Kristy Besaw; grandchildren: Dylan (Mandi) LeCloux, Brandon LeCloux, Alissa Larscheid and Britney Larscheid; great-grandchildren: Isak Matthews, Levi Matthews and Kora LeCloux; siblings: Joseph Charlier Jr, Shirley (Jack) Besaw, Tom (Kim) Charlier and Wendy (Tim) Charlier; her kitties: Elvis and Butler; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Jeff Meyers; sister-in-law, Tina Charlier; and her kitty, Mittens.
No services will be at this time, but the family will be honoring her wishes with a Celebration of Life for Jean on July 27, 2024. Further details will be posted later.
