Janis M. "Jan" Shepherd, age 74, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully in her home, Friday, December 16, 2022, with her husband at her side. She was born May 1, 1948 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Earl and Genevieve (Burgo) Junion.
After taking classes to earn her CNA license, she worked as a CNA at various facilites in California. She also worked as a security officer at LAX airport. Jan met her husband, Blane, in California in the late 1980's. They married June 6, 1992. Jan and Blane returned to Jan's hometown of Green Bay in 1999. Jan was a faithful member of Victory Tabernacle for over 20 years.
Jan enjoyed crocheting blankets and especially loved to gift her beautiful creations to her friends and family. During the holidays, Jan loved to watch Hallmark movies.
Janis is survived by her husband, Blane, 2 daughters and 2 older sisters.
She was preceded in death by a daughter.
A memorial service for Jan will be held at Victory Tabernacle (2088 Allouez Ave., Green Bay, WI), Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 3PM.
Blane would like to extend his appreciation to Unity Hospice for their care and compassion.
