Janet Sylvia Kruse

Janet Sylvia Kruse, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Country Villa Assisted Living in Pulaski. She was born on April 15, 1936 to the late James and Sylvia Hermsen.

Janet married Carl F. Kruse and spent many years together traveling and taking many trips to Vegas. Janet had many hobbies throughout her life, she especially loved doing word searches and bird watching. One of her favorite roles throughout her life was being a grandmother to her 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her children: Robert (Judy) Gagnon; Linda (Robert) Schlueter; Janice (Dan) Hoeft; Donna (Kip) Willems; Sherry (Roger) Payne and Lisa (John) Kandziora; grandchildren: Chad, Travis, Allan, Jamie, Sarah (Jesse), Tami (Jason), Jon (Jenny), Kim, Laura (Chris), Jodi (Willy), Jesse (Jessica), Melissa (Jason), Jenn, Heather (special friend, Gerd), Michael, Tori, Austin, Bill (Pam), Steven (Kim) and Michael; great grandchildren: Dawson, Braxton, Annika, Natalie, Kaden, Reegan, Karter, Karson, Brihanna, Brynley, Haley, Alex, Josh, Autumn, Lucas, Quentin, Aaron, Shaelyn, Sawyer, Skylar, Brody, Lola, Max, Gabe, Hunter, Autumn, Leah, Aliana, Ellie and one on the way, Emily; brother, Glenn Hermsen; special friend, Ken.

She was preceded in death by husband, Carl; Robert Gagnon, the father of her children; siblings: Kenneth, Elizabeth and Jimmy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Newcomer Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, WI) from 2 pm to 4 pm. A prayer service will follow at 4 pm. Janet will be laid to rest next to her husband, Carl, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
