Janet Helen Gross, age 86, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully Monday, December 10, 2018. She was born October 8, 1932 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Kvitek) Porter.
Janet married William "Bill" Gross IV in Green Bay, May 29, 1981 and they shared 31 loving years of marriage before Bill passed away May 26, 2013. She was a woman of strong faith and a member of St. Willebrord Parish.
She loved to cheer on the Packers.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Katherine (significant other, Steve Rutten) Schmitt; sister, Elaine (Roger) Wauters; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at St. Willebrord Parish (209 S. Adams St. Green Bay), Friday, December 14, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Fr. Andy Cribben, O. Praem, celebrant. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
