Jamie Leigh Beck

January 17, 1963 — January 6, 2023

Jamie Beck, age 59, passed away after living with cancer for 5 years, on January 6, 2023 at her home. She was born Jamie L. Dooley on January 17, 1963 in Marquette, Michigan. Jamie graduated from Iron Mountain Senior High School in 1981 and resided in Green Bay. Jamie is survived by her "Happily Ever After" and steadfast caregiver and husband, Brad Beck, as well as her step-daughters: Danielle (Jake Glaser) Beck, Meghan (Brody) Lemmens; her parents, Paul and Madelyn Dooley, her brother, Todd Dooley, nieces: Kalli and Maegan Dooley, her grandmother, Margaret "Peggy" Laurich. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles Laurich, and paternal grandparents: Michael and Mary Dooley.

Jamie loved time spent with family and friends, golfing, a good joke or story, going on vacations and girls weekends. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Jamie is remembered as someone who never met a stranger, as she was always kind and willing to help people, whether she had known them for five minutes or many years. She smiled and laughed often and had a special place in her heart for her family, friends, and many animals she cared for. Jamie was intelligent and had a successful career in accounting. She made everyone she was around feel special and was blessed with a positive, resilient demeanor that not even cancer could erode. Always a joy to be around, Jamie will be profoundly missed by her loved ones. It is said that grief is the price we pay for love, and we grieve deeply at this time for the angel who is no longer with us on earth.

Private family services were held in Jamie's memory. A private family burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Marquette, MI.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be announced at a later date. To leave an online condolence for the family or for updates on Jamie's Celebration of Life, please visit www.NewcomerGreenBay.com.
