James Harold White, 77, resident of Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2012.
Jim was born in Green Bay, WI on June 4, 1935, the son of Harold "Murph" White and Myrtle (Hayes) White. He attended Central Catholic High School and graduated from St. Norbert College. A talented athlete, Jim led the basketball and golf teams to many victories. His love and passion for the game of golf continued throughout his life.
Jim owned and operated James H. White Realty and White House Homes in Green Bay and later in Tampa, FL. He had a true entrepreneurial spirit and enjoyed many successes. Jim's gregarious personality and sense of humor brought those around him joy.
Survivors include his two children, Mary White and Peter (Anne) White.
Family and friends may call Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm with a prayer service at 6:00pm. Private burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the charity of your choice are appreciated.
