James T. "Jim" Vanden Heuvel, age 90, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 28, 2022. He was born October 14, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI, son of the late Theodore and Hattie (Sinclair) Vanden Heuvel.
Jim enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge. He was a maintenance engineer for Larson Canning and also drove a wrecker for his Uncle Henry at Henry's Body Shop in Little Chute. He married Joan Lasecki in December of 1953. She preceded him in death in 1966. Jim later married Jane Larsen and she passed away in 2021.
Jim loved to tinker in his garage, build bird houses and attend auto shows. He also was known to enjoy a cold one.
James is survived by his children: Linda (Randy) Deterville, Debbie Kralovetz, James M. (Pixie) Vanden Heuvel and Lori (Charlie) Gravitter; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and his brother, John Vanden Heuvel.
In addition to his parents and his 2 wives, Joan and Jane, Jim was preceded in death by a son, Bill Vanden Heuvel; a sister, Joanne (Gene) Frank and sister-in-law, Alice Vanden Heuvel.
A private celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.
