James F. McArdle, age 76, passed away on January 28, 2022. He was born on October 1, 1945 in Green Bay, the son of the late Francis and Evelyn (Lealiou) McArdle. Jim was part of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union local 3, as a concrete mason for most of his career. Jim was an avid outdoorsman; fishing was a favorite and he always had a fishing pole ready to go. He built his own home and lived life his own way. Jim was known for his famous fish frys and never turned anyone away. He loved his dogs, Hodgy and Megan, and all his previous dogs, they were his world. Even though Jim was rough around the edges, he had many friends.
Jim is survived by three children: Cari (fiancé Tom Wudke) McArdle, Kim Tomczak, and Scott (Clarissa) McArdle; nine grandchildren: Jessica (Wesley) Kimps, Justin Wellens, Kasey Wellens, Tyler White, Anthony Tomczak, Zachary Tomczak, Amanda McArdle, Morgan Castro, and Ally McArdle; three great-grandchildren: Cooper, Camden, and Lila Mae; two sisters: Rosemary Swanson and Margaret McArdle; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters: Pat, Jerry, Darrel McArdle, Judy McArdle and Linda Reese.
Jim wishes were to be cremated and no formal services. The family plans a Celebration of Life for Jim at a future date near his favorite fishing hole.
