James "Jim" G. Malvitz, 73, passed away in his home Friday, September 21, 2018. He was born on April 14, 1945 to the late Arnold and Harriet (Siegmund) Malvitz.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also very fond of gardening and was quite proud of his orchard. He will be dearly missed by many family and friends, especially his four legged pal "Kirby".
Jim is survived by his three children: Christine (Chad Delfosse) Malvitz, Robert Malvitz, and Theodore "Ted" (Jean Arendt) Malvitz. He also leaves two grandchildren: Christopher and Nicole (DeBauche) Malvitz and Makayla (Frank Kristoff) Malvitz. Jim leaves his sister-in-law: Sharon Malvitz along with two nieces: Cynthia Malvitz-Overly, Cheryl (Chris) Malvitz-Jaworski, and two nephews: David Malvitz and Dan (Ann) Malvitz.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: George and Elsie Siegmund and George and Amanda Malvitz along with a brother, Arnold Malvitz Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 4 PM - 7 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A memorial service will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
