James Ernest "Jim" La Tour

James Ernest "Jim" La Tour, age 78, of Green Bay, passed away on June 14, 2024. He was born in Green Bay on April 20, 1946 to the late Edward and Elaine (Joachim) La Tour Sr.
A graduate of Preble High School in 1965, he later became a Certified Nutritional Consultant before moving to Los Angeles, CA where he worked in the Health Food Industry. He helped so many people there including consulting for numerous people in the movie industry. Jim returned to Green Bay in 2019. In 2020, he contracted COVID and never fully recovered.
One of seven children, his passing was preceded by his parents; two sisters, Sharon Bernard and Diane La Tour and, sadly, his son, Rick James La Tour (8-27-15).
He is survived by his four siblings: Gene La Tour, Edward (Ann) La Tour Jr., Michael La Tour, and Denise (Steve) Engstrom. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Per Jim's wishes, no services will be held. A private burial will take place in Allouez Catholic Cemetery, Green Bay, WI.
Jim's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bay of Northridge, Manitowoc, WI and to the Heartland Hospice team for their incredible care and compassion.
