James E. Jones

James Eugene Jones, age 62, was born to eternal life on July 16, 2022 at his residence in Abrams. James was born on December 15, 1959 to Virginia Mae Hayes and William Amos Jones in Alexandria, Virginia. James proudly joined the Marines in 1979 and was a rifleman.

He moved to Abrams, WI; with his father, Bill where his father married Jackie Blachuta, who cared for him and loved him as his mother throughout all his trials and tribulations. James was proud to always lend a helping hand and enjoyed helping his father and mother at B&J Small Engine Service and Sales in Abrams.

James is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Mae, and his father, William Amos. He is survived by one son, Jeffrey Magnuson, siblings: Virginia Rogers, William Jr. (Nancy) Jones, Mark Jones, Diane Funderburg, Sherry Mary Woodworth, and Brian (Lori) Franks. He is also survived by many members of Jackie's loving family: Julie Nielsen, Natalia Blachuta, and Joe Blachuta ( who was a very close friend and brother) as well as Madeline "Maddie" Nielsen, Amanda Blachuta, and Isabella "Izzy" Samplaski who loved him all very dearly. The family would also like to thank Jackie's brother, Ed who was a very close friend of James and enjoyed his company as well as to Julie, Maddie, Amanda, and Isabella for all the time you spent with him and helping him where needed.

Friends and family may visit Newcomer Cremations, Funerals Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave on Friday July 29, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with memorial service at 4:00 pm. Military Honors will follow after the service.
