James A. Hess

James A. Hess, 62, of Green Bay, lost his courageous battle with cancer Monday, October 17th, 2016. Jim was born on April 5th, 1954 in Laona, WI to the late John Hess, Sr. and Dorothy (Koch) Hess. He grew up swimming, camping, hunting, fishing, and skiing at Paul Bunyon Ski Resort. He graduated from Wabeno High School, and resided in Green Bay working at Tape, Inc. until their closing. Jim's passion for the Great Outdoors and the Northwoods always remained. He was devoted to family and friends, sharing his knowledge, and building a strong bond with his 2 nephews and niece. He liked to be on the go, socializing, and having that PBR. He will be sadly missed saying hello to folks and chatting at the end of the bar.

He is survived by his sister Gail (Gary)Sees of DePere, Nephews, Rick(Tonya) Sees of Antigo, Tim(Niki)Sees of Brussels, and Lori (Rich) Rosio, Suamico.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Gary Hess and John Hess, Jr.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Sue Williquette and all the staff at Aurora Hospital for their compassion and care.

There will be a celebration for Jim at the Packer Stadium Lounge, 1342 South Broadway, Green Bay, on Saturday November 5 from Noon to 5 pm for Jim's friends and family.
