James "Jim" R. Fuller, age 63, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 14, 1953 in Green Bay, son of the late John and Eunice (DuBois) Fuller and was a graduate of Green Bay East High School.
After graduation, Jim attended NWTC and was trained as a machinist. Jim met Marilyn Harkins in 1974 and they were united in marriage in 1984. Together they shared 32 loving years of marriage and raised 3 children. Jim worked as a machinist for both Gardner & Denver and O&E Machine and later as messenger for Garda.
He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed waterfowl hunting. Jim was an award winning trap shooter and was a proud member of the Wisconsin State trap shooting team when he was 24 years old. Hunting season was a year long event for Jim and he excitedly awaited his trips to Canada. He was a true gun enthusiast, expert gun tinker and enjoyed obtaining his FFL license. Jim was a lifetime member of the NRA. He shared his passion and respect for hunting and shooting with others, youth and adults alike.
Jim is survived by his wife, Marilyn; 3 children: Jeanette, Jaclyn and John Fuller; 3 sisters: Judy (Larry) Van Horn, Jean Gille and Kathy Madole; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, hunting buddies and close friends.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 3 to 7 PM. There will be a sharing of memories at 7 PM. Visiting hours will continue at the funeral home, Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 10 to 10:45 AM. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Jim's life at 11 AM.
