Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Servais, age 77, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 12, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born November 3, 1945 in Algoma, WI, daughter of the late Norbert Nennig and Lorraine (Stangel) Klarkowski and was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1964.
Jackie lost her father, Norbert, when she was 7 years old. Her mother remarried her dad, Norbert Klarkowski, who raised her and her brother, Jim Stangel, with love, along with her mom. Jackie married the love of her life, Ron Servais, April 11, 1986. They shared 14 wonderful years together before Ron passed away in 1992. Ron brought 4 children into the marriage, so along with Jackie's 3, they raised their blessed blended family.
Jackie was a talented and avid participant in many activities including pool, bowling, darts and horseshoes. Through these activities she traveled for several tournaments and established many long lasting friendships. She loved to travel and spend time at her cabin in Pembine. Her home was a welcoming place for her family and friends. Her children have fond memories of her hospitality, which extended to their friends and neighbors, as well.
Jacqueline is survived by her 3 children: Daniel Smits, Dale (Lori) Smits and Debbie (fiancé, Tom Elliott) Smits; 5 grandchildren: Troy (Tavia) Smits, Melissa (fiance, Bob Craw) Smits, Jessica (fiance, Maryann Browning) Smits, Taryn (Scott) Lajeunesse and Owen Smits; 5 great-grandchildren: Madilynn, Christine, Miles, Maximus and Nolan and a sister-in-law, Janet Stangel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron and her brother, James Stangel.
Services for Jackie are pending.
Jackie's family would like to thank the caring staff at Aurora BayCare Hospital, especially McKenzie, for their compassion and support.
