The matriarch of our family, Jacqueline "Jackie" Jones has passed on; as her journey continues we would like to say:
"Mom, thank you for being both mother and father for most of our lives. You've raised a strong family who have learned to survive in some of the worst of times. Without your strength and positive influence, we would not have the love we share for each other. She taught us we were special in our own way."
She was born on October 3, 1925 in Crystal Falls, MI. Graduated Valedictorian of her High School class, Howard's Grove, WI. She moved to Oconto Falls, WI from Milwaukee, WI in 1976, where she made it her home. Many of the family followed. She watched her family grow: more grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Jackie enjoyed spending time with family and friends drinking coffee, spirits and playing dice.
Nature and the care of animals was a big priority.
If asked, Jackie would tell everyone that she has lived a wonderful life and was very proud of her family.
Jackie is survived by her ten children: Carl (Marie) Anderson, William Anderson, Ronald (Lillian) Anderson, Gerald (Betty) Anderson, Ruth (Guy) Winter, Robert (Sarah) Anderson, Dawn (Pete) Fiedler, Paul (Carrie) Anderson, Jeffrey (Sylvia) Jones and Debra (Paul) Zielinski; two sisters: Joyce Bucek and Patricia Ireland. She is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Mary (Currier) Stromberg; infant daughter Beverly Jean Anderson; one brother, nine sisters and previous spouses: Henry Anderson and Paul Jones.
Jackie's family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
