Jacqueline Hill

Jacqueline "Jackie" Hill, 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Meadowbrook at Appleton Nursing Home. She was born on January 31, 1948 to the late Hazel Sommers and Irvin Hill.

Jackie was a graduate of Bay Port High School. She spent many years of her life in Colorado Springs where she was employed at Mountain Bell telephone company. Jackie was a very talented artist. She enjoyed painting, drawing, and ceramics. She was also a gifted accordion player. Jackie loved spending time in the outdoors as well.

Jackie is survived by her sons: Schwan (Jill) Hill and Charlie (Cindy) Gast; her siblings: Bonnie Harlson, Ron Hill, Julie Cornelius, and Julius Sommers. Jackie is further survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her step father, Julius Sommers; sisters: Cheryl Ault and Diane Hill; a niece, Melissa Wade; and a nephew, Danny John.

A visitation for Jackie will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Newcomer Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, WI) from 1 pm to 2 pm. A prayer service will follow at 2 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
