Jacqueline F. Gering, 55, of Green Bay, departed this life on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Jackie was born on August 27, 1963 in Green Bay daughter of Melvin Gering and the late Sharron Watson. She was a graduate of Bay Port High School Class of 1981. Jackie drove school buses for most of her career and most recently worked for PMI Entertainment. In her spare time Jackie loved to do crafts. Most important to her was spending time with her family and friends, but most especially her grandkids. Jackie will be remembered for her big heart and the wonderful woman she was and will always be remembered as.
Jackie is survived by her three children: Crystal Gering, Matt (Cheyeanne) Watermolen, Miranda Watermolen and Mariah Zimmer who was like a daughter to her. She also leaves her father, Melvin Gering, along with three siblings: Shawn (Brian) Hussin, Ken Gering, and Chris Gering. Jackie leaves her grandchildren: Tristin, Syreana, Alexis, Kali, Khloe, Mason, Scarlett, and one on the way! Jackie also leaves a special aunt, Susan Woodke, and a long time companion, Jeff Mitchell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4th from 4 - 7 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A Memorial Service celebrating Jackie's life will close the evening at 7 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Jackie's family wishes to extend their gratitude to the wonderful staff at Manor Care East, and St. Vincent Hospital for the love and care given to her.
