Jacqueline Ruby Thomas (79) went to her Heavenly Home on a beautiful and peaceful Sunday morning, June 6, 2021. Jackie was born January 8, 1942, the daughter of the late VanRoy and Rosetta Thomas.
Jackie worked for the United States Postal Service and after more than 30 years of service she retired. Most recently, Jackie spent the last 15 years working for the Oneida Nation Appeals Commission/Judiciary Courts.
She loved her family dearly and you could often find her spending time with them over a meal or a game of 31. Jackie cherished her trips to Florida where she spent precious time with her son Scott and grandchildren Madi and Logan. Jackie also loved the Green Bay Packers, Elvis Presley, shopping and thrifting and collecting bears.
She is survived by her son Scott Thomas, Land O' Lakes, FL; grandchildren: Logan Thomas and Madison Thomas; siblings: Vickie (the late Kermit) Jordan, Carla (Curt) Danforth, Inez (Ed BlackThunder) Thomas, Michael (Kelly Crawford) Thomas, sister-in-law Char Thomas, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and God children. She is further survived by her many friends and special friends: Loretta, Sheri and Tober.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Gary Thomas, Robert Thomas, Lillie Steffes, Sherman Thomas, Carol Thomas and Bruce Thomas.
Visitation for Jackie will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church (453 Rose-Hill Dr., Hobart, WI 54155) from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00AM. Jackie will be laid to rest at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
