Herbert B. Hansen, age 95, of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016. He was born May 22, 1921 in Green Bay, son of the late Arthur and Anastine Hansen and was a graduate of Green Bay West High School.
Herbert enlisted in the U.S. Navy after graduation. Herb married Ruth Sheriff and together they shared many happy years together and raised two sons. He was a new car salesman for Van Boxtel Ford for many years and was an active member of the Elks Club. Herb was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, boating and fishing.
Herb is survived by his son, Patrick Hansen; 2 grandchildren, Kristine and Kyle and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; a son, Thomas Hansen and a sister, Muriel (Melvin) Bain.
Private services will be held by Herbert's family. Newcomer Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
