Henry "Hank" Backhaus, age 79, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017. He was born April 18, 1938 in Boyd, WI, to Henry and Albina (Esser) Backhaus. He was 1 of 5 children.
Hank married Marilyn Seidl at the age of 18 and they were blessed with 2 sons and a daughter. He spent his early adulthood as a diesel mechanic. Hank owned and operated Backhaus Trucking.
Hank loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His recent years were spent watching wildlife, going out to dinner and gambling at the Casinos.
Henry is survived by his sons, Henry, Jr. and William and his daughter, Lori. He was fortunate to have 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held by Hank's family at a later date.
