Helen L. Craw, age 94, passed away surrounded by her family, on Monday, May 14, 2018.
She was born on November 30, 1923, to the late Fred & Edith Parthie.
Helen married Edwin Craw on June 28, 1947, they were blessed with 66 years together. Ed & Helen bowled for many years at Willow Creek.
She loved to play Scrabble with her friend, Pat Gille, loved going to the Wildlife Sanctuary to watch birds. She was the best "bear hug" giver. Helen was very affectionate to all people. She was a wonderful mom and will be missed by many. She loved her dog, Breezy, very much.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Ron Roberts; their children, Rodney (Samantha) Roberts, Jody (Steve) Paul, Renee (Justin) Jackson, Patrick VanderMuss, Ron, Jr. (Julie) Roberts, Monica (Thomas) Bournoville; their grandchildren, Jessica and Elizabeth Roberts, Victoria (Jacob) Carnell, Michael (Raven) Paul, Summer and Reagan Jackson, Noah, Matthew and Serena VanderMuss, Allie Van Pay, Georgia and Sabrina Giltner, Colton, Peter, Makayla, Joseph Bournoville, Madi & Colton Roberts, Landis & Lauren Vanbrocklin; their great-granddaughter, Isabella and Emma Lee Carnell; a daughter, Lucille Harbin, Virginia Beach, VA; her children, Keith (Stephanie) Lemens, Valarie Marshall, Tina Lemens; her grandchildren Taylor Lemens, Anthony Lemens-Marshall, Kylee and Jacob Marshall, Steven Lemens, Alanna Shaw; Late daughter Sharon's children, Dana (Sam) Cherry, Pam (Justin) Moss, Roxy (Elias)Webster, Shane (Ashley Cox) Alberts; her grandchildren, Dominique(Logan) Roberts, Zac Cherry, Catrina and Christopher Alberts, Kyle and Derek Luse, Tynique, Jacob, Bridget and Justin Webster, Kara and Tyvin Alberts; her great-grandchildren, Jake & Emma Roberts; a daughter, Patricia Hummel, Union Grove; her children, Tara (David) Batesole, Raymond (Stacy) Hummel, Wesley Rossal; her grandchildren, Annabella Batesole, Landen, Nolen and Noah Hummel; two brothers, Gerald (Jackie) and Bill, Sr. (Terry) Parthie; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; a daughter, Sharon Alberts; two grandchildren, Chad Alberts and Lynsay Legois; three brothers, Fred, Jr., Kenneth (Pat) and Carl (Mary) Parthie.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Visitation will continue from 9:30 am until 10:15 am on Friday, May 18, 2018, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Friday at the church with Rev.William Hoffman officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Good Shepherd.
