Passed with peace and grace on February 22, 2022, this is the story of Harry Edward Morgan, an incredible man that is so loved and embraced by many. Harry's life began on March 23, 1933, the son of Harry and Anna Morgan.
Being a husband and father may have been the highest paid jobs on his resume. But, we could also list foster dad, softball coach, sideline fan, CEO of the Brookridge Street Block Party, bridge player, bowler, and tourist, as Dad and Mom were able to travel throughout the country and world. They especially loved playing cribbage by the beach each winter in Hawaii. However, the job that he embraced the most was that of grandfather. The word "no" would become amiss from his vocabulary during these years, except when it came to Sue, that is (she's smiling right now). They enjoyed spending time together with them Up North and at family celebrations and activities.
Harry accepted his path these past few years with strength and dignity. As he was confined to his bed, we spent a lot of time together sharing stories of moments past and the wonderful life our family lived together. The love between Harry and Sue was remarkable and touching to those fortunate enough to be a part of their lives. It would be remiss to not mention the duo channel changers that they each had because everyone knows who won that fight. Good for you, Sue!
Harry is forever remembered by his family: Therese Cibula, MaryPat (Joe) Lett, Dan (Tammy) Morgan, and Jim Morgan. He will be missed by grandchildren D.J. (Jacqueline), Zac (Jaclyn), and Julianna Cibula, Joey (Bree), Sammy (Cameron), and Alex Lett, and Liz Morgan, and his great-granddaughters Ada, Aliza and Winnie Cibula.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 26th at St. Matthew's Church at 10:00 am with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00. Packers attire is encouraged.
