Harry L. Sadler Jr., 81, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013, following a lengthy battle with lung disease. He was the son of the late Harry and Lucille (Klopotic) Sadler. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1950. Harry married Darlene Prue on June 11, 1955, in Green Bay where the couple made their home. Prior to his retirement from the United States Postal Service, Harry worked for The Milwaukee Road and Northwest Engineering. Harry enjoyed model railroading and traveling.
Harry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Darlene; daughter, Karen (Vern) Wisniewski; son, David (Lynn) Sadler of Carmel, Indiana; brother, William (Sharon) Sadler; his uncle, Lawrence Klopotic; sisters-in-law, Iris Bush of Battle Creek, Michigan and Valerie Johnstone of San Jose, California; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers-in-law, and two sisters-in-law.
Family and friends may call Monday, October 28, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 3:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm with Rev. Andrew G. Cribben O.Praem. officiating. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
