Harry Anthony Hylok, age 89, of Pulaski, passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday, July 20, 2021, surrounded with the love of his family. He was born in Flintville, WI, December 19, 1931, son of the late Joseph and Frances (Pawlak) Hylok.
Harry grew up on the family farm and carried on the family farming tradition by establishing his own farm. In addition to his farming, he held several other jobs in heavy equipment operation. He married Anne "Annie" Szmiett, September 29, 1953 at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour, WI and shared 67 loving years with the love of his life.
Harry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a talented dancer and was often the last one out on the dance floor. Harry was known for his sense of humor and incredible story telling. His faith was very important to him and he read his Bible daily in addition to being an active church member. Harry was a true family man and devoted his life to providing and caring for his family.
Harry will be deeply missed by his survivors including his wife, Anne; children: Darleen (Dave) Balza, Connie (Alex) Krueger, Randy (Peggy) Hylok, Jane (Fred) Nowak and Bruce Hylok; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren (and one on the way) and sisters: Frances Lepak, Regina Berna and Dorothy Prokop. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Hylok and 10 siblings.
Visitation will be held at Assumption BVM Parish (124 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, WI), Monday, July 26, 2021 from 9 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. Carmen Scuderi, celebrant. Burial will be in SS. Edward & Isidore Parish Cemetery, Flintville, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to Assumption BVM Parish in Harry's name are appreciated.
