Harold W. Close Jr., 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Sunday, December 14, 2014. He was born January 15, 1948 in New London, WI, to Harold W. Close Sr. and Betty Martin.
Harold was employed at Larsen Canning Company for 32 years and Astro Industries for 18 years. He retired in February 2013. Harold loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching football.
Harold is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughters, Carrie (Mark) Dewey and Theresa Wavrunek; brother, Jerry Close; sisters, Patt (Bob) Sutton and Martie (David) Ferguson; grandchildren, Kelsey and Bailey Wavrunek. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and sister-in-law, Bonnie Close.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 3:00pm till 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay.
Harold's family would like to give a special thank you to Green Bay Oncology and Unity Hospice.
