Harold "Rusty" Radue, 93, of Green Bay beloved husband of 70 years to the late Dolores (Bancel) Radue, passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2022.
Rusty was born on May 7, 1928 in Green Bay son of the late Henry and Mrytle (Kratz) Radue. Rusty worked for Verifine Dairy and later retired from Mrs. Karl's Bakery. He and Dolores were married on June 21, 1947 at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Together they raised their family of five boys. Dolores preceded him in death on November 17, 2017. In 1972 they purchased their cottage on Anderson Lake, and Rusty enjoyed spending time there. In his spare time he enjoyed, cutting grass, boating, fishing, water skiing, surfboarding and roller skating (at Bay Beach, Riverside, and Danceland). Rusty especially enjoyed dancing to Polka music with Dolores.
He is survived by four sons: Calvin (Mary) Radue, Dennis (Helen) Radue, Patrick (Sharon) Radue and Keith Radue. He also leaves a sister, Carol Jean Walker, along with five grandchildren: Sarah (Allen) Sharkey, Matthew (Valerie) Radue, Benjamin (Stephanie) Radue, Martin (Gabrielle Barnica) Radue , and Rachel Radue. Rusty also leaves five great grandchildren: Josephine, Walden, Lydia, Theodore, and Lyndis, and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by a son, Mark Radue, and brother, Earl (Carol) Radue.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20th from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, a funeral service will follow at 11 AM with interment to follow at 2 PM at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
