Harlan James Rochon, 69, of De Pere, WI and formerly of Norway, MI and Milwaukee, WI, passed away November 19, 2018, with his family by his side after a lengthy illness.
Harlan was born July 15, 1949 in Daggett, MI, the son of the late Uldage and Marie (Rabitoy) Rochon. On May 22, 1976 he married the love of his life Bonnie Woodruff. Together they worked hard to build a family full of love.
Harlan served in the US Army from 1967 - 1969. Harlan retired from the VA hospital in 2011 after 41 years and working at 7 different hospitals. Living in these locations afforded Harlan, his wife Bonnie and their children the opportunity to develop great friendships and cherished memories with many people throughout the years.
Harlan had a wonderful personality, always cracking a joke and was fun to be around. He was a provider and a protector. Harlan enjoyed fishing, the Brewers and the Packers, but his favorite thing was having his entire family together.
He is survived by Bonnie, his wife of 42 years. His children: Dane Bagley (Kirsten), Steve Bagley, Racquel Gauthier (Mark), Christie Timbrook (Adam), Brian Rochon, Mike Rochon and 13 grandchildren that he loved dearly. He is also survived by his brothers: Gary Rochon (Eileen), Wayne Rochon (Linda), Dennis Rochon, Dale Rochon (Cheryl) and David Rochon (Karen) and one sister: Sue Hanna (Dick) and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his Father-in-law and Mother-In Law, Ralph and Ruth Woodruff and Nephew, Chad Rochon.
A strong Husband, Father and Papa that will be missed forever.
