Guy E. Johnson Sr.

Guy E. Johnson Sr., passed away with his wife, daughters and sons-in-law by his side on Friday, March 26, 2021. He was born March 25, 1949 to the late Erling and LaRayne Johnson.
Guy was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and took permanent residence in Green Bay after serving in the U.S. Navy and later became a Sergeant at the Green Bay Correctional Institute for 25 years.
Guy is survived by his wife, Frances Johnson; two daughters, Julie (Byrant) Prosser and Jennifer (Steven) Bowey and his two sons, Guy (Michelle) Johnson Jr. and Jeff Johnson; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Erling and LaRayne Johnson and his brother, Gary Johnson.

"God saw him getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around him and whispered 'come to me.' With tearful eyes we watched him suffer, and saw him slowly fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best."
