Gregory W. Jordan of Green Bay, WI, passed away at his home, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 after a small family gathering to celebrate his 72nd birthday. Greg was born December 21, 1949 in Green Bay, WI to the late Raymond and Alma (Webster-Denny) Jordan. He graduated from Green Bay East High School and enlisted in the US Army, serving his country during the Vietnam War.
Greg married Rose M. (Novitski) Jorgenson on July 12, 1975 and they had 3 sons together. He liked to keep himself busy by fixing cars, lawnmowers, snow blowers and other small engines. He was a proud member of the Oneida Nation.
Greg is survived by his 3 sons: Benjamin, William and Robert Jordan; step-daughter, Rebecca Jorgenson; 6 grandchildren: Beau (Sarah) Phillips, Tiffany Miles, Wesley, William A. and Mercedes Jordan and Matthew Bernardo; great-grandchildren: Janine Stade, Brayden and Declan Phillips and Aurora Dean; siblings: Jerry (Betty) Denny, Roxanna Counard, Mike Jordan, Owallah (Sam) Sobieczyk, Mickey (Eddie) Petijean, Sam (Bonnie) Jordan, Colin Jordan and Crystal Biller; in-laws: Gloria Jadin, Art Novitski, Bonnie Byng (Darrell), Sally (Ted) Coenen, Steve (Polly) Novitski, Debbie (Jeff) Pionek, Laurie (Dennis) DeKeyser, Lisa Oudenhoven, Terry (Glen) VanderKinter, Amy (Tim) Ertman, Penny Jordan, Irma Denny and Sally Puyleart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose; his parents; mother and father in-law, Chester and Lorraine Novitski; brothers: Bruce and Cecil Jordan and Martin Denny; sister, Paulette Jordan; in-laws: Ronald, Daniel and Michael Novitski; sister-in-law, Ann Jordan and granddaughter, Kayla Edlebeck.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Monday, January 3, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 NOON. Military honors will be rendered at 12 NOON. Masks will be mandatory and will be provided if needed. Burial will be in Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to assist in the maintenance of the household until the estate is resolved.
