Grace Frances (Van Den Heuvel) Skaletski, 87, Abrams, WI passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 of natural causes. She was born on December 3,1935 in Green Bay, WI to the late Albert and Blanche (Coniff) Van Den Heuvel. She attended St Phillip's Elementary and St. Joseph's Academy in Green Bay. On July 14,1951 she married Dalen Skaletski who preceded her in death in 2016 after celebrating 65 years of marriage.
Grace was a beloved mother of nine children, survived by: Christine Pleuss, Robert Skaletski, Mark (Gayle) Skaletski, Lonie Walker, Julie (Charles) Schlesinger, Jill Frances, Bennett (Vicky) Skaletski, and Bert (Jarmila) Skaletski; 27 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Grace also leaves one surviving sibling, Kathleen Jauquet.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Rasmussen; her grandchildren, Louis Rowe and Joseph Rasmussen; brothers, Clayton and Andrew Van Den Heuvel; and sisters: Agnes Van Beynen, Margaret Kane, Dolores Kroll and Alice Hays.

Grace was a private Third Order Dominican with the chosen name of Sister Mary Magdalene. She had a calling (or apostolate) to aid the sick and dying with many years of visits with prayers and singing with residents of local nursing homes. She was an advocate of pro-life and helped found the A&A Alexandrina Center, a pregnancy care center in Green Bay.
As an accomplished classical pianist, she enjoyed many years as church choir director, organist and 48 years of teaching piano and organ, influencing hundreds of students with her love of music.
